Description : Khoobsurat also known as Disney’s Khoobsurat, is a 2014 Hindi romantic comedy film. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Afzal Khan, Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak and Aamir Raza Hussain in lead roles. The film is loosely based on the 1980 film of the same name.
A hopelessly romantic physiotherapist meets a handsome young Rajput prince who is the complete opposite of her and engaged to someone else. Set in Rajasthan, Khoobsurat is the story of Dr. Mili Chakravarty (played by Sonam Kapoo) – a working class physiotherapist from Delhi. Mili is sent to Rajasthan to treat the paraplegic Shekhar Rathore, Raja of Sambalgarh. Throughout the span of her stay in the mahal, Mili charms the Rathore family, particularly junior Yuvraj Singh Rathore (Fawad Khan) – with her free soul and amusing tomfooleries.
The film, which is a revamp of Hrishikesh Mukerjee’s 1980 hit film of comparative name featuring Rekha, additionally star Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Husain.
